Fully Residential Course

Our close protection training courses span 18 days, are fully residential, and jointly take place at an exclusive country manor hotel or retreat near the City of Bath and our training facility.

Eligibility 

To be eligible for our courses, you must pass our vetting process and complete the required self-study subjects before attending the SIA Level 3 Close Protection Course.  

Prior self-study is required to provide you with a foundational knowledge of close protection, ensuring a higher standard for individuals entering the industry. Other prerequisites will be an English test and health assessment.

Outside of Guided Learning Hours

Outside of the required guided learning hours, we host guest speaker sessions featuring experts with extensive experience in protective roles. These sessions offer a relaxed environment for Q&A and lectures, drawing insights from professionals who have served in such units as the Metropolitan Police’s Special Branch Protection Unit, which later evolved into Specialist Protection (SO1) and Royal Protection (SO14), now integrated into the Royalty and Specialist Protection (RaSP) unit.
